Cyber Defense in the Critical World of Water
June 2 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
Water is the most fundamental life sustaining commodity and something me must protect. Cyber threats were already a real and growing problem, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine has increased the specter of cyberattacks on Western countries. The news is replete with dark predictions and warnings about potential Russian (and their allies’) attacks on our most critical services. Unfortunately, these warnings do not come with clear, actionable recommendations…which is the purpose of this panel.
Join us for this one hour informative and action-oriented panel discussion of risk and mitigation in the critical world of water. The panel will feature experts from The Department of Homeland Security’s CISA, Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, Allied Public Risk and Alvaka Networks.
Our panelists will…
- Discuss the current threat landscape, as well as the actions being taken to defend against these threats
- Share best-practices, including IT hygiene and security investments
- Speak to state and requirements of the cyber insurance marketplace
- Answer questions from attendees
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from and interact with professionals that are currently operating and defending our most critical infrastructure.
